For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, "The Candidate" is the person using this site for career related purposes and "The Employer" is the person/recruiter/recruitment agency using this site for recruitment purposes.

General
"Web Best Practice" provides this site on an 'as is' basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties.

In addition, Web Best Practice makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site.

The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Web best practice takes no responsibility for any such inaccuracies or errors.

Neither Web best practice, nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage of any kind, arising out of or in connection with the use of this site.

Any party using this service for any purpose other than those specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions shall immediately be banned from using this site.

You agree not to put excessive load on our servers.

Emails and URLs within job descriptions are not allowed.

The description of the role should mention the required skills as well as details describing the role. Contact names should not be mentioned in the job description.

Advertisements which discriminate (or appear to discriminate) on grounds of sex, race, age or disability are illegal.

Password security
You agree to notify us as soon as is reasonable, knowledge that your password is, or may be, known to any person(s) other than those within your organisation. Upon notification of such an event, we will render such password inoperable, and will issue a new password by a mutually agreed method (telephone or email).

Web best practice shall:

Take the steps set out to secure any personal data.

Take reasonable steps to provide a reliable service to you. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of any of the CVs stored in our database. You acknowledge and accept that this is beyond our control, and refunds cannot be given in the event of untruthful information being submitted by candidates.

Web best practice reserves:
The right at any time without notice to revise the content of the site (including the services offered by Web best practice) and these terms and conditions.

Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on the site and by continuing to use the site following any such change you agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions.

You agree that we may vary these terms and conditions on not less than 14 days notice to you.

Web best practice takes every possible measure to protect our members and community. However due to the nature of the recruitment industry. Individuals who upload their CV/ Personal details do so at their own risk and accept they are likely to be contacted by the recruiter without intervention from Web best practice.

Web best practice reserves the right to contact a candidate at our discretion for the purpose of ensuring quality standards and supporting the candidate in seeking employment.

Recruiters may only use information supplied by us for the purposes of recruiting and shall not disclose any information to any third parties other than those directly related to the recruitment process of the candidate.

You acknowledge and accept that all rights to information provided by third parties are reserved by those third parties, and that such information may not be used in any way that infringes any proprietary interests of those third parties. You agree not to disclose any information provided by the candidates to any third parties, or those not directly related to the recruitment process of the individual(s) in question.

Any personal details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held in accordance with our Data Protection Registration. You agree that you do not object to us using this information to contact you for the purpose of improving our service to you, requesting payment(s), discussing account status, and you confirm that you do not consider any of the above as a breach of any of your rights under the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999.

You agree that your details will be available to Web best practice staff, but we will not disclose these details to anybody outside of our organisation.

Payments:
We do not store your credit/debit card details. Payments are one-off payments and are not recurring. Currently all online payments are taken via Nochex.

If you have purchased:

  • Banner space

  • Home page industry listing space

  • Mini logo placements

Your advertisement will be listed on the website for the three months, starting the date of payment received, after three month, you are eligible to request a further three months advertising or cancel your package.

We will notify you twenty eights days before the service is due to end.

We require a further payment to hold an additional three months promotion on the website twenty eight days before the end of your service.

We reserve the right to terminate this agreement immediately, with no further obligation to you, upon the occurrence of any of the following events:

You fail to pay any amount due to us in accordance with agreed time scales.

You breach any of the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Termination
Please email your request to have details removed from the system. info@ukjobsinrecruitment.co.uk

Discrimination Policy
Web best practice does not discriminate against anyone registered to or using our website. We try to ensure that all possible measures are taken to prevent any vacancies advertised or searches do not discriminate against age, disabilities, gender or race. It is down to the users themselves to ensure they comply with discrimination laws. Not Web best practice.
